Puppies are guaranteed to be in good health at the time of sale, to the best of our knowledge. The purchaser has a health guarantee extending to the close of business on the third day the puppy leaves our property and is taken to its new home, in which to have the puppy checked by a licensed veterinarian. The original owner of the puppy must retain 90/10 health insurance for each of our puppies, including surgeries. The owner must contact us immediately if there is a major health concern arising from an inherent condition that has been diagnosed by vet discovered upon health exam and must request vet to email rangelfamilygoldens@outlook.com for us to confirm with our vet to receive a replacement puppy of equal value when available. This guarantee does not cover injuries from accidents, food poisoning, or owner negligence.

This puppy is guaranteed up to its second birthday against any congenital or hereditary defect, which develops to the extent that it adversely affects the animal's health or will lead to death. If a licensed veterinarian determines your puppy has a congenital or hereditary defect, you will be required to provide us with the licensed veterinarian's certificate stating the defect. In some cases, a second opinion may be required before replacement puppy will be given. 

Your puppy was bred from parents and in most cases, many generations of ancestors most of whom have clearances for normal hips. These clearances do not guarantee that your puppy will not develop dysplasia of the hip. The development of canine dysplasia of the hip is not dependent only upon genetics, but environment (exercise and feeding) as well. Inappropriate exercise can harm immature, developing joints, and may affect their ultimate development. As we cannot control how you feed, exercise, and care for your puppy A written documentation from a licensed veterinarian that the hip dysplasia is due to genetics, sufficient proof of proper exercise, feeding, and an official OFA evaluation is required for replacement of your puppy if hip dysplasia is detected. OFA hip rating must be severe for a replacement. At that time, we will replace your puppy with one of equal value on the next available litter, usually within 12-24 months. In some cases, a second opinion may be required before replacement is granted. The hip dysplasia guarantee is good up until the puppy's second birthday.

We do not guarantee against communicable diseases such as Parvo, Coccidia, Giardia, Distemper, Rabies, etc. We take every precaution to prevent these illnesses, but a puppy's immune system is immature at the time of transferring to their new home. Stress can contribute to a Coccidia or Giardia outbreak. Be very careful where you take your puppy until all rounds of vaccinations are completed and the puppy is fully immunized from these diseases.

Owners must not over-exercise their puppy; joints are still growing and cannot handle excessive exercise. Conventional Rule: Walk or run your puppy no more than 5 minutes for each additional month of life after 8 weeks of age. Example: a 5 month old puppy should not walk/run more than 25 minutes per day.

Owners must not over-vaccinate their puppy. Information regarding vaccinations is available on our website and by request. You will receive a copy of the vaccination records and de-worming treatments when you pick up your puppy to go home.

Owners must continue the recommended vaccine schedule and Titer testing. Proof of this must be provided for any puppy to be eligible for exchange. We always accept a puppy being returned without cause or explanation and for no refund.

To prevent contracting the fatal Parvovirus we insist that no pup be taken to a dog park or place where other dogs have been present until 12 weeks of age. However, socializing with safe animals and other pets is encouraged from 8-12 weeks in an environment with animals who are not recently vaccinated. When visiting with other dog owners, please ask them to sanitize their hands before petting your pup. Prevention is free, treatment is not. We do not like dog parks where there are too many dogs that can intimidate a young pup. 

We cannot insist that you feed your pup the way we do, but we recommend to the highest degree to give your pup an organic, human-grade feed to prevent cancer. 

 If an owner chooses not to keep a healthy dog for a good reason, it must be returned to the breeder, Rangel Family Goldens and with no refund due to the cost and time it takes to prepare a returned puppy to go a new home and we want customers to realize the risk of the decision to purchase a family member. We aren't selling merchandise, it is a fur-baby and we want our customers to treat at the same level as their family

It is further understood and agreed that no warranty or representation has been made with respect to the sold puppy, except as set forth in writing in this agreement. By purchasing this puppy, the buyer acknowledges having read this contract in its entirety and agrees to all terms and conditions within this contract.
