Before You Apply — A Few Things To Know About Golden Retrievers
If you’ve never owned a Golden Retriever before, here are some important traits of the breed:
Loving, loyal, playful, and wonderful with families.
Love to shadow their humans and be part of daily life
Sensitive, eager to please, and thrive on companionship
Puppyhood is active — ages 9–17 months are the most challenging.
Most Goldens settle down around 2–3 years old.
They do not do well as outside-only dogs.

We do everything we can to prepare each puppy for the world and for their new home, but it’s important to understand the needs of this wonderful breed.

Primary Payment Method
Our preferred payment method is Zelle sent to RFGoldens@outlook.com.
Additional Payment Options
Cash App or Venmo may be approved on a case‑by‑case basis for families who cannot use Zelle. These options must be sent through personal accounts (Friends & Family only).
Reservation Payment
A non‑refundable reservation payment is required to secure your spot on a litter. Reservation order determines puppy selection order.
Final Balance
The remaining balance must be paid before pickup. If your bank has daily transfer limits, you may make multiple payments leading up to pickup.
Good Dog Payments
Families may choose to pay through Good Dog if they prefer. Please note that Good Dog adds their own processing fees to the total.
