Visitation Policy

We are so grateful for the excitement and love families have for our puppies. We work hard to create an environment that keeps our moms, puppies, and adult dogs comfortable, safe, and thriving. Many families have heard that “a good breeder will allow visits,” so it’s very common to wonder if you can meet, pick out, or play with the puppies before they are ready to go home. We completely understand the anticipation — but we do not allow visits, and it’s for reasons that protect both our dogs and your future puppy.

Why We Do Not Allow Visits

1. Protecting New Moms and Their Routine

Nursing mothers are extremely sensitive to unfamiliar people in their space. Even a short visit can raise their stress levels, which directly affects milk production, bonding, and the puppies’ early development. While one family may feel like “just a quick visit,” we have many families waiting — and repeated disruptions would be unfair to the moms and unsafe for the litter.

2. Protecting Puppies Before Vaccination

Young puppies have very immature immune systems. Even well‑meaning visitors can unknowingly carry germs on shoes or clothing. Parvo, for example, can survive on surfaces for months and can be picked up from parks, sidewalks, or schoolyards. One exposure can be devastating. We simply cannot take that risk with any litter — including your future puppy.

3. Protecting the Puppies’ Developmental Schedule

Our puppies are raised on a structured routine that includes crate conditioning, sleep blocks, early socialization, and confidence‑building. This routine is essential for healthy development. Unfamiliar visitors interrupt sleep cycles, overstimulate young puppies, and disrupt the predictable environment they need to grow into calm, confident companions.

4. Protecting Temperament Evaluations and Matching

Puppies change daily, and early visits often give families a misleading impression based on which puppy happened to be awake, bold, or sleepy at that moment. We spend hours with the puppies every day and understand their developing personalities. Matching based on temperament — not impulse — leads to the best long‑term success for both the puppy and the family.

5. Protecting Families From Scam Concerns

We understand that many families worry about scams or unethical breeders. This is why we work almost entirely through referrals and repeat families. When you come to us through someone who already knows our program, you can feel confident that you are working with a legitimate, ethical breeder who prioritizes the well‑being of every dog in our care.

How We Raise and Prepare Your Puppy

We pour our time, energy, and hearts into raising healthy, confident puppies. Our structured program includes crate conditioning, early socialization, grooming exposure, and predictable routines that support long‑term success. We know the wait can feel long, but we promise it will be worth it when you finally take your puppy home.

To help you stay connected, each litter has a private Facebook group and Instagram updates where we share photos and videos from birth until pickup day. This allows you to enjoy every milestone without compromising the safety or development of the puppies.
